Elektro Mechanische Contactdag

Op donderdag 16 februari is het Umicore Solar Team te gast op de Elektro Mechanische Contactdag. Dit is een initiatief van een tiental bedrijven waaronder ook drie van onze partners: Phoenix Contact, EPLAN en PEC. Gedurende deze dag ligt de nadruk op ecologische en energie-efficiënte oplossingen die de aanwezige bedrijven bieden. Omtrent deze thema’s zullen er seminaries zijn en men kan de productstanden van de bedrijven bezoeken.

Hiernaast is de Umicar Imagine ook een belangrijke gast. Enkele leden van het team zullen namelijk een presentatie geven over het avontuur in Australië. In de loop van de dag wordt de zonnewagen tentoongesteld en vragen worden beantwoord aan nieuwsgierige bezoekers.

This is an initiative set up by about ten companies, three of which partner our project: Phoenix Contact, EPLAN and PEC. During this event the emphasis will be put on ecological and energy efficient solutions that those companies offer. There will be seminars on these topics and the public will be able to visit each company’s booth.

The Umicar Imagine is also an important guest. A few team members will give a presentation about our adventure in Australia. During the rest of the day, the solar car will be put on display and questions will be answered for those who have some.

All of this will take place in San Marco Village in Schelle.
