Digital twin
As this year’s Digital Twin Engineer, I am developing a true digital replica of our car. This replica allows us to model the car’s power consumption and performance, it aids in making informed design decisions, and it is crucial to determine the optimal racing strategy. This is an extensive project that requires me to closely collaborate with Quinten, our Race Strategist Engineer, as well as all other technical departments, to make sure that the digital models are as representative as possible of the real car, and that they fit the team’s needs.
Being part of the Innoptus Solar Team is truly a dream come true. It is the perfect transition from my academic career into my professional career. Having a background in computer science, artificial intelligence, and electrical engineering, I am able to apply all of these skills to a project that truly matters, and grow even further as an engineer. I cannot wait to see where this incredible project takes my 11 talented teammates and myself!
