Race strategist
As a race strategist, I ensure that during both the design-phase and the race we make the right decisions to push our solar car towards victory in the next international race. With my background as a civil engineer in energy systems, the energetic aspects of the solar car are familiar territory for me.
During the race, I determine the optimal strategy: how fast we drive at any given moment, how we respond to clouds or wind, when we change drivers. By combining large amounts of car data and weather forecasts with the route profile, we get the most out of our team and the solar car. In doing so, we take green innovations to the next level and inspire others to do the same!
