Low voltage
Since my first encounter with the Solar Team, I have dreamed of helping to build a solar car that amazes the world. For me, this is the ultimate engineering experience: together with a team of motivated students going all out to win the toughest international races in the world.
As a Low Voltage Engineer, I am responsible for the reliable operation of all the electronics in the car. Of course, I do not do this alone, together with Wout I design smart and safe solutions that are crucial during the race, from control systems and displays that show essential data to all the sensors that collect this data. This project is for me the chance to take my technical skills to a higher level and at the same time contribute to the future of sustainable mobility.
