AERODYNAMICS ENGINEER
In my first year as an industrial engineering student, the Solar Team introduced itself on KU Leuven campus Group T. I was amazed by what a team of students can achieve during their studies. The next few years I became more and more interested in designing cars and aerodynamics. Hence my master's degree in Intelligent Mobility. Together with team member Julian, I did a thesis on the aerodynamic simulations of the Punch 2. Applying for a job with the Solar Team seemed like a suitable next step to broaden my knowledge.
In my spare time I play ultimate frisbee, where aerodynamics play an important role in throwing the disc. The angles at which you release the disc are crucial for the trajectory of the throw - especially when there is a strong wind in the game.
