Agoria Solar Team
The Belgian Solar Team is recruiting! For the design and construction of the ninth solar car, we are looking for motivated and passionate students that are ready to take on the biggest challenge of their student years - and much more!
As member of the team, you will be a part of an intense student project from July 2020 to June 2022. In a little over 15 months, you will be designing, developing and testing a solar car, to race this car in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in October of 2021. The solar cars will be traveling a distance of 3021 kilometers, right through the Australian outback, to get to the finish line as fast and efficiently as possible. Universities from all over the world will take part in this challenge and defending the first place trophy will not be easy.
You can apply for this project after obtaining your master's degree in Civil Engineering.

The Agoria Solar Team is part of the Postgraduate Tech Innovations in Ventures and Teams.
The Postgraduate Tech Innovations in Ventures and Teams is an extra year in which you get the opportunity to gain some unique experience in business or entrepreneurship while working on an innovative team project.
The programme comprises at least 56 credits, with 44 credits for the team project and at least 12 credits for a personal training programme. In this case, the team project consists of being part of the ninth Belgian Solar Team.
Are you graduating in June or August 2020 and are you looking for a challenge before you start to work? You will be in a better position to make the right career choice and to enter the job market at a higher level after this postgraduate programme. You can take this postgraduate programme after finishing your Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
